Testing the ability to do a product demo page. I want to give people a view of the product, some descriptive text as well as an audio commentary about the product.
There are many who worship the Gods and are granted power by them. Some, however, are granted power beyond the God’s other servants because of the strength of their devotion, their ability to surrender to their deity’s will. These favored servants are guided and protected by the deity’s most favored servants of all: Angels.
An Angelic Vessel acts as a host and conduit for the power of an Angel. This form of surrender grants the conduit protection, strength, and even the ability to channel the Angel’s essence for short periods of time. It comes at a cost, however: the Angelic vessel must walk a narrow path, and must always seek to act according to the wishes of his deity and the Angel who shares his body. Should he ever waver, even for a moment, the Angel leaves his body and strips him of his powers until he atones for his sins.

I got some more artwork in today. Some for a new Advanced Class for D20 Modern which will be a cross between a modern Druid, Paladin and shape-changer! I will post a pre-view of the cover here shortly. I also got a couple more Mob Family pictures as well as the cover art for our next Adventurer Essentials installment: the humble Torch!

I also sent Anthony over some new manuscripts for him to add to his work-load. Two more advanced classes and the Adventure Block texts. Can’t wait to see what he come sup with! (He also got a bunch more work from LPJ over at Devil’s Workshop, and another commission from a post I put up over at Your Games Now so we can keep him busy.:-)
My buddy in Canada is looking for a new house, and his wife called him and said “This house I saw today is amazing…it even has an Xbox room.” Now you have to understand that this woman has never been very XBox friendly…and it took MONTHS of scheming and schmoozing for him to upgrade to a 360! I guess our regular Thursday night online Blast-O-Thons have taken root.
I finished the Gears of War campaign all the way through last Monday night; which was fun. It ended a bit sooner than I expected, and I had trouble following the “story line” at some points, but it was certainly a fun game and remains a great Co-Op and PvP game. I read on the internet that there will be some additional content and maps avaliable soon. (And the ending set up a sequel, so there is that to look foreward to eventually.) Now I am going to go back through it on “Super-Insane-Difficult” mode to bone up on my PvP skillz.
This weekend I plan on working on one of the projects I am writing, I want to finish it up and get it out soon. It will go along great with another release a freelancer proposed, which he is revising after I saw the first draft and made a few suggestions. One little hint: “Guns, Lots of Guns.”
Today I finished the layout for the Angelic Vessel prestige class and put the PDF together. Our last release is still on the RPGNow front page so we are going to wait another day or two before we release it there. I posted a pre-view over at the ENWorld message boards. So look for that soon.
I also got two new Dept. 7 Advanced Classes back from the prolific Chris Field. One is for our Hero-themed advanced classes and the other fits more into the Arcana line. I have several more Adventure Block manuscripts to go through; two of them were commissioned as actual full-blown modules; but I am going to break out the various encounters as their own seperate Block for more flexability. One is for Fantasy and the other Modern.
Today I posted our first Adventure Block to Your Games Now and RPGNow. I also did some final edits on the Angelic Vessel Prestige Class as well as some of the layout work. I like the way that project is coming together. I also got another batch of artwork back from Anthony; a few more pictures for the Mob Family as well as the cover art for our next Modern Advanced Class. I even managed to get a little Gears of War in while my wife was off running errands!

Today I recorded and posted our second Podcast. I talk a bit about what we have been doing since we started publishing, as well as some of our plans for 2007! Take a listen…
Today has been a big day. First I got four new images back from Anthony for the D20 Mob Family. I have put together a little pre-view here to feast your eyes on. I am really spending a lot on artwork for this project; probobly too much. But the images should be able to be used in many different projects, so that should help me re-coup my costs. But as you can see his work is well worth it:

I also finished the layout for the first Adventure Block and put the PDF together. Not ready to post that one yet since I want to have several ready to go up in the same time-frame. Its a short one, but a good one.
I also put together the cover for that Prestige Class:
I also started replacing some of the fugly Bundle images on RPGNow with some I put together that actually show the contents of the bundle. I figure I will keep doing a few here and there until I get them all switched over. To see what I am talking about just look at our vendor page on RPGNow and click on the “Product Bundles” category to see what I mean.
All that plus some big news on the message boards today; a couple of heavy-hitters have left OBS for greener pastures. (Ronin Arts and XRP in case you were wondering.)
Well, its just after midnight so this post is technically an update for Feb. 2nd! Finished playing some Halo II with my friends…we got creamed all night. I think we only won a couple of games all night. We would be down by four or five kills…and all of a sudden we would be down by ten or fifteen near the end. No coming back from that.
I had finished the layout of the Nano-Robotic PAN PDF earlier before I left work. After the Halo session I wasn’t ready for bed, so I went and posted it to RPGNow and YGN. I hd put the press release out as a pre-view earlier today; so I wasn’t planning on releasing the same day as the pre-view, but I did anyway. (Not much of a pre-view I guess!

The Advenure Block is next; I tweaked the cover a bit today when I got home. I didn’t like the D20 Logo up there next to the title, so I moved it down to the lower right hand corner and expanded the title-box. I think it looks better that way. I want a unified cover layout for the whole line, so this way all I have to do is swap out the main picture, the title and change the product number.
Anthony sent me another picture today to go along with a Prestige Class I have had the manuscript for since October. It will be nice to get that done soon. I have several projects written that have been in a holding pattern waiting for the artwork. The only real problem is that since Anthony has been so fast with his turn-around time now I need to pay him!
