I just got the Coven of Bast PDF from Chris Field, look for it to drop on Halloween.

Bast is an old goddess, but one never totally
forgotten, and her worship began anew with the
formation of the Covenant of the Goddess Universal.
Bast’s rise in popularity as a patron goddess and
protective figure began among the imperiled and
angry high school kids of 2020s America when the
country was suffering its first Powered wave of
theo-fascist violence. Originally a faith of the oppressed,
the powerless, the outcasts, Bast’s worship
has become a driving force in 22nd Century society.
More worshippers draw inspiration from Bast today
than during the height of her classical worship.

Today, the Covent of Bast is the fastest
growing sect within the Choicer Covenant. They are
the hardliners, the hawks, and the militarists.
Bastians comprise the majority of all the Covenant’s
special forces troops and wield massive political
influence. The Bastians will not be satisfied until they
win the Abortion War cleanly, and wipe America
free of its Christian stain.

But the Bastians are also the artists and
innovators within the Covenant. Questioning everything
that has come before, Bastian iconoclasts have
pushed the Covenant farther towards becoming an
independent, sovereign culture than any other
faction. Bastians are passionate artists, activists and
idealists. The Bastians are the engine that drives the
Choicer Covenant.

I’ve been down sick on and off for two weeks straight.  I finished a round of anti-biotics yesterday so I should be ship shape in a day or two.

I releases the Pathfinder-compatible “Mega-Feats Revisited” a few days ago and that is selling well.  We even got a mention on the Paizo store blog.

I am currently going through a Ley Lines manuscript from Chris Field which looks very good.  Behind that we have a few other projects as well.

I am also gearing up for November as it is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).  I have the story planned out, characters sketched and am ready to bang this one out once and for all.  I’ve had this particular story rattling around in my head for a while, so it will be nice to get it on paper once and for all.

Some people become assassins out of
greed, or for political reasons or merely because
they don’t have any marketable skills other than
shooting people. Not you. You’re different, though.
For you, death is a friend, a constant companion, a
lover… and an art form to be mastered. You are
one of the greatest hired killers on the planet simply
because you don’t view yourself as just another
mercenary: you see yourself as a combination of
artist, serial predator and harbinger of a final but
strangely peaceful transition.

Unlike most assassins, you prefer to know
your victims, to make your execution of the target a
kind, almost loving dispatch rather than an example
of brutal efficiency. You are selective in your choice
of assignments.

Gentle Assassins are a quintessentially

Measured Harm Doctrine. Precise, humane and
efficient, Gentle Assassins are usually high ranking
Perseus intelligence agents, or drawn from the ranks

The Liberty Shaper Radiant Advanced Class

Shaper Radiants are one of the oldest and
most reliable classes of engineered post-humans.
Hundreds of promising young activist-soldiers, both
metahuman and baseline, were offered Shaper
Radiant conversion between 2027 and War’s End.
Shaper Radiants are political exemplars as
well as extremely effective supersoldiers. Capable of
projecting and shaping telekinetic force fields,
Shaper Radiants are extremely mobile, flight capable
soldiers with the raw firepower of an entire field
artillery battalion. The Shaper’s powers are deliberately
spectacular in a way that no other Combat
Type can match. Their brilliant energy signatures
and the discharge of their implanted bio-weapons
can be seen from high orbit.

More important than their tactical role,
though is the Shaper Radiant’s role in Choicer
culture. They are living, high-visibility exemplars of
Choicer philosophy. These colorful metahumans
represent strength and power through diversity and
correct moral action. Shaper Radiants are natural
celebrities and leaders, and many former Rainbow
LIBERTY soldiers have transitioned into political
office during the post-War era.

Free20: The Gorger

Gorgers are the latest evolution of the feral
‘superpigs’ that have rampaged across the Southern
and Western United States since the dawn of the
21st century. Originally, these behemoth pigs were
just feral hogs and javalinas, grown to gigantic size
and savage boldness thanks to a steady diet of
human waste. For campers, superpigs were a
terrifying but thankfully rare urban legend. For
hunters, super pigs were the ultimate trophy.

Gorgers resemble goliath wild hogs, with the
largest specimens growing as large, and weighing as
much as a fully loaded Humvee. Specimens over 10
ft high at the shoulder and weighing in at 2.5 tons
aren’t uncommon; anything under one ton (adult
weight) is usually considered the runt of the litter and
rarely survives infancy.

Gorgers are primarily scavengers and
opportunity predators. They sustain themselves
mostly on garbage, a behavior which brings them in
close contact with humans. Gorgers have little fear
of humans, but respect guns, cars and other technological
dangers enough to give them a wide berth.
However, they will attack a solitary human, and as
the Untainted fear, they will maul and devour
unwatched children.

Overwhelming firepower can usually make a
Gorger break off its assault, but once seriously
wounded, most go into a feral rage and don’t stop
attacking until either they or their prey are dead.
